RANGE Magazine Issue Two features editorial content with a unique, on-trend voice that speaks to the past, present and future of the outdoor industry as a whole. Not just products and design, but also marketing and communication, retail space and concept creation. Offering seasonal-inspired brand features, lifestyle articles and photo essays, this issue encourages readers to find creativity and adventure in the outdoors year-round. Art Directed by Joel Speasmaker of Forest Studio, Issue Two also features original illustrations and photography, emphasizing this winter’s go-to outdoor apparel, gear and tech products.
RANGE teamed up with numerous creative contributors for Issue Two, including outdoor lifestyle photographer Meg Haywood Sullivan, who shot the Winter 2015 cover photo. The photo was taken while Meg was chasing chest-deep powder in the Japanese Alps with Ryland Bell and Ralph Backstrom, two big mountain riders. RANGE also partnered with Victoria Masters and Dave Sutton of Stadiums & Shrines, an extraordinary site finding the connection between vision and sound. The couple set out on a Venture Out-sponsored road trip through New Zealand, documenting their travels through photography and playlists, which are featured in Issue Two.
The Winter 2015 issue of RANGE Magazine also features artwork from photographers Jennifer Puno, Mike Persico, Max Lowe and Alyssa Larson, as well as illustrations by Nick Zegel, Seth Neilson, Obi Kaufman and Shelby Ling.
