We had the opportunity to art direct and style a shoot for KEEN’s newest sandal, UNEEK. Photographed by Meg Haywood Sullivan, the concept — inspired by a modern approach to “getting outdoors” — follows an adventurous couple on a quick trip from the Dogpatch in San Francisco to Bolinas in their trusty Westie for a dayhike.
The UNEEK, a play on the word “unique,” is built with an innovative two-cord construction that molds to your feet. The lightweight PU midsole delivers durability and comfort while the high traction rubber outsole with razor siping ensures secure footing on slippery surfaces. For wardrobe, we pulled from some of our favorite brands, including Gramicci, Mountain Hardwear, Woolrich, Patagonia, Madewell, Levi’s and A.P.C., to create a lifestyle look that would resonate with today’s urban outdoor enthusiast.
