To celebrate this week’s launch of Urban Outfitter’s new active concept Without Walls, the store welcomed New York locals to their basement with energy drink-inspired cocktails, a cycling challenge, and a complete collection preview.
The retail giant is now housing iconic outdoor, performance and lifestyle brands to meet the needs of the ever-growing active trend. Younger brands like Seea, Alite, Biolite and Newline are paired with Japanese imports like Snow Peak, Chums and Columbia Japan. Classics like Patagonia, Vans Off The Wall and Asics are also up for grabs, rounding out a well-curated mix of fun and functional pieces for a range of activities.
In addition to the NY opening, Without Walls will start rolling out at additional UO locations, including Space1520 in Hollywood, Costa Mesa, Santa Monica and San Francisco, confirming something that we have been waiting for with bated breath: the active movement for the masses has officially arrived.
