Millican recently launched their Blank Canvas Project to collaborate with people who inspire creativity, action and positive change. The Blank Canvas Project’s mission is all about sharing and working together to help good things happen.
After their first limited edition collaboration with The Do Lectures, Millican has enlisted the help of Andrew Groves and Emma Hughes from Miscellaneous Adventures, a project that promotes the co-existence of creativity with outdoor living and the production of handcrafted wooden objects, as their next creative partner to design a new canvas backpack. Made with a single piece of soft-brushed, waterproof 100% recycled polyester canvas, the bag is constructed with 40 recycled PET bottles.
The Miscellaneous Adventures x Millican Blank Canvas Rucksack features a custom-designed natural leather patch by Andrew Groves and a wild flower yellow recycled lining. While we hope you’re getting off the grid on your adventures, if you must stay somewhat tapped into your technology, there is an external hidden, padded and waterproof laptop sleeve, and the pack sports both a small external zipped pocket and internal organization pockets to grab whatever you might need with ease. Adapted from the original design, this new pack has the ability to carry tools for the curious craftsman or the wanderlust wanderer. The Miscellaneous Adventures x Millican Blank Canvas Rucksack also includes compression straps for carrying any external loads you might need to bring along.
Millican and Miscellaneous Adventures even created a short film titled “Woodland Connection,” which takes place in the Sussex countryside, to tell the story of the inspiration for the Blank Canvas Rucksack collaboration, which you can view below.
