San Francisco sister brands Alite Designs and Boreas Gear teamed up to create the perfect urban commuter pack with utility-based design and uncompromised style. Their collaboration is just like the perfect PB&J sandwich with equal parts peanut butter and jelly, or in this case with equal parts of Alite and Boreas features.
Alite provided the body design of the pack, made of a technical, weatherproof wax canvas, which was crafted in their SF workshop to perfectly fit Boreas’s contribution, their signature SuperTramp Suspension system. This system can be converted from a high-ventilation trampoline suspension to a conventional high-stability suspension with just a pull of a strap, meaning more airflow and no more sweaty backs! Together these two pieces work in harmony to provide stability, comfort and storage. Other notable features of the pack include a roll-top closure, foam backing insert, leather straps for exterior storage and an adjustable hip belt and sternum strap.
This slate-colored beauty is now available online as a limited edition pack on the Alite website. However, Alite and Boreas have assured us that this is just the beginning of future collaborations and innovations by the two brands!
