As winter descends upon us, a jacket that keeps you warm and dry while on your bike and beyond is crucial. Cadence, which brings streetwear sensibility to cycling clothing, and 686, the makers of technical apparel for snowboarding and mountaineering have collaborated to bring you two new jackets to meet that need.
The lighter weight Kenton 3L Rain Jacket has fully taped waterproof seams when precipitation is in the forecast and comes in olive or black. For colder conditions, the Ericson Insulator Jacket, available in black and iron gate colorways, features Primaloft® insulation and a DWR coating so you can be extra warm and dry. Both jackets use 3M® reflective trim to increase visibility for other cyclists, hikers or motorists in low-light conditions, and their thoughtful bike-specific details make these must-have pieces.
To promote their collaboration, Cadence and 686 have created a video for the launch of these jackets, which you can view below to follow along on a bikepacking excursion from the city to the trail in the Pacific Northwest. You can also pick up your favorite jacket from the collaboration now from the Cadence webstore.
