Through the Lens: Kyle Frost on Lost Coast Trail

San Francisco-based designer and photographer KYLE FROST recently took on the southern section of LOST COAST TRAIL with our buddy Eric Bach from Hipcamp. The two outdoor warriors trekked about 20 miles from Needle Rock to Usal Beach, an area with unbelievable views of the California coast and Pacific Ocean.

With original shots of waves crashing beneath the fog, Kyle’s photography from the trip perfectly captures Northern California’s SERENE vibe. His photos take us on a journey through thick, green forests, black sand beaches and sunrises that light up the coastline’s cliffs. And of course, like every HAPPY HIKING TRIP, Kyle and Eric rewarded themselves with cold beer and burgers. Yum!

We love Kyle’s photos from Lost Coast because they DEFINE THE OUTDOORS AS A PLACE OF EXPLORATION, and a place to grow as an individual or with a friend. Click through the gallery below to get a feel for what we’re talking about, and be sure to read the full adventure story here.

Kyle is also the co-founder of Hike Further, a rad company that promotes outdoor adventure through photo narratives. Check them out!
