Through the Lens: Jeff Cormack Off-Roading in CO

Our friend Jeff Cormack is truly a Jack of all trades. He’s a talented, multi-instrumental music producer, founder of a band called South of France, shoots film on old Nikon cameras, and has a hungry appetite for exploring the outdoors. However, after two years of writing, recording and playing music, Jeff was feeling a bit burnt out and needed to get back in touch with the simple pleasures that allowed his passion for music to thrive and grow.

One afternoon, amidst recording South of France’s second album, Jeff found inspiration in watching old Camel Trophy footage online, and decided to take an off-roading journey through the remote mountain areas of Colorado. The goal was to touch as little pavement as possible, sticking to four-wheeling, hiking, biking and swimming.

Jeff’s photos from his weeklong trip are tremendously uplifting, fully capturing the color, life and creativity that is the outdoors. Click through the gallery below to get a feel for the enchanting landscapes Jeff explored, and keep an eye out for some beautifully designed product by Topo Designs, including their recent collaboration with Howler Bros.

P.S. Jeff’s band, South of France, produces some really rad adventure tunes that we have been playing on repeat. Check them out!
