Similar to the ethos that has shaped its online presence, Wittmore’s Third Street pop-up is a reminder that mens fashion should be fun, while maintaining a sharp, smart edit.
The cheerful, colorblocked space, which is covered in limited-edition prints from Pantone offers a balance of both timeless and “culture-current” apparel and accessories from a tight mix of brands including Isaora, Levi’s Vintage Clothing, Mark McNairy, Norse Projects, Topo Designs, Olasul, Timo Weiland and Quality Peoples. The racks are stocked for stylish gents, be they beach goers, boaters or city dwellers. Find bright swim trunks and board shorts, colorful polo’s, graphic t-shirts, tank tops, henleys and a range of casual button-up’s sitting alongside cotton ties, leather wallets and canvas backpacks, among other accessories that will live in your closet from season to season.
While perusing the racks I had the pleasure of meeting the man behind it all, Paul Witt. With a long history in the fashion world, “Wittmore,” he explained, “was a calling.” He then said the shop will be extending its stay in WeHo to August 18th and there was even talk of getting a permanent space. Needless to say Wittmore would be a welcomed addition to the West Coast.
