I stopped by Shelter Half last night to check out the new Almond Surfboards‘ installation. Built from primarliy plywood, the installation will live at Shelter Half until the end of January, and features a replica surfboard shaping bay with resin art floor, a handful of surfboards and some apparel and accessories.
I have always been a fan of Almond’s straightforward approach to boards, relying heavily on simple, cleans lines and classic handmade shapes. On the product front…graphic crewneck sweatshirts, baja-inspired board bags and durable duffels fall in line with their laid-back OC aesthetic.
Shelter Half continues to house a bevy a amazing, American-made brands and goods, so make sure to stop by and check out what they have on deck for the coming seasons.
